Alexa Bass - Founder of Artistic Legacy
Originally from Fayetteville, NC - a creative woman with southern girl hospitality, fused with urban contemporary style. I love the city of Nashville and have lived here for 16 years. I can appreciate Nashvilles diversity in many aspects from its traditional surroundings to rapidly growing urban developments. I am very happy where I am and could not imagine living any place else.
My personal interest which are a reflection of the way that I live are in Music, Fashion, Beauty, Modern Interior Design and I have a love for exotic cars. My professional background is artistically diverse with years of experience in the areas of Sales and Marketing, Music and Salon Ownership. I have owned and operated two Salon /DaySpas, the first in my hometown NC for 7 years and in Nashville, I am the partner that designed and constructed the Day Spa formerly known as Urban Fusion Spa ( currently Natural Oasis Day Spa )located at- 2214 Elliston Place, Nashville TN.
Artistic Legacy by Bass Monuments, although a new company is certainly no stranger to the memorial industry. My strong influence in this industry comes from my wonderful parents. Bass Memorials-NC, was established nearly 20 years ago and is owned and operated by Walter and Mildred Bass in Fayetteville NC. Over time, I have observed their compassion, their continued growth and success as they provide traditional Bronze and Granite memorials of the finest quality to their loyal clients in the NC region.
Meanwhile, I have had my eye on the Nashville market for years and personally recognize a need for diversity in the memorialization world. I decided a few years ago to seek out "Something out of the Ordinary" a material that directly appeals to me in terms of remembrance. I was fortunate enough to come across an extremely talented Artisan by the name of Greg Lundgren.
It is an honor for my company Artistic Legacy to specialize in the Nashville market and represent Lundgren Monuments which is a collaboration between two extraordinary professional glass artists, Jim Nelsen and Greg Lundgren. Together, we will present the World's first, Cast Glass Memorial, in the TN region. The designs are for the exceptional individual and will last thousands of years. We will offer diversity in the market and provide an "option" allowing you a distintive choice over the traditional bronze and granite materials. This is fascinating!
Cast Glass Monuments stand the test of time and embrace an entirely "new attitude" toward remembrance. There is nothing like it in the world!
